You know, I really expected some form of coffee to be chosen the most. Maybe there aren't as many coffee fiends out there as I once thought.

The radioactive liquid of life (Mountain Dew) used to be my breakfast (and lunch, and dinner, and any time in between) beverage, but I've reached an age where my stomach can't handle that any more.

I've downgraded to Coke for breakfast (and most of the rest of the time in between) beverage of choice.

I still have mountian dew every day in the morning and threw the day. I have insomnia and most nights i dont sleep so its kinda the only thing keepin me alive lol. Some people say "just drink coffee" but thats just too much straight caffeen it makes me all shaky.

I hate to say this, but once I switched away from the radioactive liquid of life then some of my insomnia went away. Some, but still... sleep is wonderful however or whenever one can get it.

For me, my choice to not drink coffee had more to do with a dislike for the taste. People tell me it is an acquired taste but I've never managed to acquire it. Altho I can see the "too much cafeen" arguement. When I get too much I start seeing beyond 3d...

I like my Gevalia Kaffe Breakfast Blend. I also like Kona, and Columbian coffees as well. I very rarely put things in my coffee. I like coffee flavored coffee. I do like my Cuisinart Grind n Brew machine that lets me go from beans to coffee without the intermediate step.

I like coffee. I'm not a fan of all the flavored syrupy crap sold as coffee or 'coffee drinks' these days. I guess you can take the guy out of the Navy, but not the Navy out of the guy.

Sounds good. I tend to go for lighter roasts, like Kona. We can't get Cuban here, what's it like?

I am not a fan of coffee unless it's one of those super sweet dealies from Starbucks or Tim Hortens, and I can't really be arsed to pay for something first thing in the morning. So it's usually some earl gray for me with a bit of milk and honey. Simple and sweet ^_^

Sounds pretty good. (Though I prefer Earl Grey without milk for some reason.)

The only tea that I drink without milk is green tea, but I drink green tea without anything. I actually find that earl gray dries my mouth a bit without milk, but that's just me. If I do drink it without milk I usually add a little lemon, but not first thing in the morning and usually not when it's cool out. I'm not sure why. Maybe my mind is trying to count it as breakfast because of the milk?

Today I went to Voltage Coffee and Art in Cambridge, MA. (It's a wonderful, fairly new, locally owned, gourmet place. If you're ever in Kendall Square, check it out.)

Today, I asked them for a special order. (Something I used to get pretty regularly, but hadn't tried there.)

Here's what you ask for: "(Double) Macchiato with as much mocha as a full-size mocha, to go." You end up with roughly equal parts chocolate, espresso, and milk. Rich, delicious, neither bitter or sweet.
